Best Upton Park atmosphere ever?

The 3 games that regularly get referred to as the best ever for atmosphere are Eintracht Frankfurt Cup Winners Cup 76, Ipswich title challenge 86 and Ipswich play offs 2004. I only went to the Ipswich 86 out of the three, anyone out there that went to all 3 and can verify what was the best ever for an Upton Park atmosphere?

Home leg against Frankfurt was the best for me and the German contingent helped make it with those huge flags.

I managed all three of them. Eintracht was my first big game at UP - aged 12 - no turning back from that. What an experience, I managed to get close enough to the front of the North Bank to get a view, separated from older brother, no idea where he was in the melee behind. Brilliant night.

Eintracht Frankfurt for me. But as it was the only one that I went to of the games you mentioned I don't suppose I had much choice.

... it's never going to be like that tonight or ever again at the OS... people were saying it would be like that for the Man Utd FA Cup match but it was an abysmal atmosphere.

As someone who's been going since about 1983, I'd say the Ipswich play off semi 2nd leg (first one). It's the only match at UP where it was so loud that it effected my hearing, had a buzzing noise in my ears for an hour or two afterwards.

given my age, the best atmosphere I remember is the '04 Ipswich game, the stand was vibrating with all of the noise.
One incident that sticks out in my head though is when we lost 4-3 to Leeds in '02 and Viduka elbowed Repka in the face. To a man the entire crowd sang 'Fat Aussie W&nker' and my old man said he could hear that in Plaistow!!

I liked the one where Kenny Brown scored against Man Utd that completely ruined their title bid and we were already relegated. It was a cracking atmosphere.
Ipswich game was insane for noise, and a ridiculous game of football too.
Weeknight matches are my favourite. If we can reach those levels of PASSION shown that night this evening it's going to be special.

Coventry 2-0. Goddard and Neighbour. My first season and only time I see the whole north bank bouncing. I Can still remember the voice in the west side say look at the north bank.
